JKI-Institute for Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology

The Institute for Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology (SB) has strong experiences in the (environmental) risk assessment of GM and novel crops. Dr. Ralf Wilhelm will lead the JKI-SB team supported by Dr. Christian Kohl to undertake an environmental impact assessment considering the crops, traits and technologies included in CAPITALISE. Katja Thiele brings expertise on the sustainable establishment of novel crops. Close collaboration with the project CropBooster-P will be established.
