of corn, fodder grasses, grains, green manure, legumes and flax. They are highly experienced at performing field trials, molecular marker analysis, backcrossing genes/QTL into elite germplasm and has nurseries for producing seed/multiplication
Lead by Louis Vlaswinkel they bring experience in using NIR for estimating quality of maize and other crops to assist with NIR development, expertise and experience as cereal and corn breeders to assist in the organisation the field work, and translation of research into commercial crops for validation and also assist in the development of the road map and strategy and stakeholder group activities.
